George Michael "Freedom! 90" Instagram x Vogue Video Collaboration
Twenty-six years after the release of George Michael's "Freedom! 90", Sony Music UK, Commercial Group and George Michael collaborated with Instagram and Vogue to create a contemporary version of his iconic video. It featured celebrated supermodels including Adriana Lima, Joan Smalls, Anna Ewers, Irina Shayk, Taylor Hill showcasing spring/summer 2017 ready-to-wear fashions from designers such as Alexander Wang, Marc Jacobs, Coach, Michael Cors, and others.
The project launched as a series of videos on Vogue's Instagram profile. An edited version of the video clips can be seen below.
In 2017, the project garnered a Webby Award nomination in the Social Video Culture & Lifestyle category.
