Jack Johnson's Curious George first #1 US album to exceed 10% digital sales
Jack Johnson and Friends's Sing-a-Longs and Lullabies for the film Curious George campaign kicked off with a four-week album pre-order on the iTunes Music Store, where fans who pre-ordered the album received "Upside Down" instantly, plus a Money Mark remix of "Upside Down," bonus Making-of-the-Album video and downloadable Curious George coloring book. The pre-order promotion helped drive 42,214 album downloads, 26% of total sales. The album debuted at #1 in the US Billboard chart and became the first chart topping album to exceed 10% digital sales.
